Caldicott delivers a first-class educational experience for boys that is built on timeless foundations, while fitting the demands of the modern world. Located in rural South Bucks, the school is only 30 minutes from West London; with 40 acres of green belt countryside, our prep school consists of 250 boys aged 7-13. A dedicated team of Caldicott drivers takes stress out of the school run with a minibus fleet extending locally and throughout West London. Known for stellar academic results and impressive leavers’ destinations, boys in the last five years have progressed to more than 30 different senior schools. Caldicott has also achieved a ‘full house’ of scholarships (academia, arts and sport) for many consecutive years, despite modestly sized year groups. Every boy has access to exceptionally high-quality coaching, outstanding facilities and a broad range of opportunities to relish enjoyment through sport. The Arts have a big place too; over 180 individual instrumental music lessons and 120 LAMDA tuition sessions are timetabled weekly. Advocates of boarding, Caldicott still appreciates the individualised needs of each child and the fact that boarding may just not be right for some boys, which is why our model is flexible. Flexi boarding is available from as early as Year 3, with many pupils opting to Weekly and Full Board in the older years to make the most of the ever-popular evening activities programme and camaraderie that comes with this experience.
